The platform comprises of an internet gateway device which can communicate with various ECUs via CAN and our “Device Management System” – SDMS. The gateway devices come equipped with GNSS, cellular internet, and an sensors. R2D3 interacts with on-board ECUs, SEDEMAC Device Management Service (SDMS), and data server via Cellular GPRS (2G/3G/LTE/NB-IoT) communication. The SDMS ensures that diverse user equipment are configured/updated/monitored to a consistent standard set of applications, functions or corporate policies.
