Common Rail Direct Injection Engine Controller (CRDI) ECU
SEDEMAC offers India’s first indigenously developed CRDI (Common Rail Direct Injection) ECU. CR-ECU controls an electrically operated injection system, which significantly improves the efficiency, minimizes Noise-Vibration-Harshness (NVH) and emissions over the conventional mechanical injection systems. CR-ECUs run highly complex control algorithms to ensure that the engine runs clean and efficient, in the full operating regime. These ECUs are customizable and scalable according to the customers' engine specifications and applications. The customers get the flexibility to develop their own high-level application layer logic, which will in turn reduce development times.
SEDEMAC’s CR-ECU controls a multitude of actuators including the injectors, to provide torque throughout the required RPM range, and at the same time it meets the new stringent emission norms. CR-ECU also interfaces with the relevant vehicle sensors which provide precise input for the timing of operating the injectors as well as other actuators; for example EGR valve, fuel metering valve, vane gates, etc.

CR-ECU solution provides the framework for the customers to develop their own application layer algorithms. This framework based on Target Link also provides the numerous advantages of Model Based Development (MBD) besides helping the OEMs reduce the turnaround times for their developments.
