Shashikanth Suryanarayanan acts as a Director at SEDEMAC. He plays a lead role in enhancing the Company's visibility and driving the Company's traction with customers and investors. Prior to SEDEMAC, Shashikanth obtained his bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Madras in 1998 and a doctorate in Control Systems from the University of California at Berkeley, USA in 2002 followed by a tenure at General Electric, New York. Shashikanth has worked on a variety of control systems including those in vehicle steering, wind turbines, hard-disk drives, high-speed bicycles, and, automotive engines. He is also affiliated to the Department of Mechanical Engineering of IIT Bombay as a full-time faculty member.
Pushkaraj Panse acts as a Director and the Chief Executive at SEDEMAC. He also holds the responsibility for product development. Pushkaraj graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mumbai in 2001 and obtained his masters in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Bombay in 2005. Prior to incorporating SEDEMAC, Pushkaraj worked with Infosys Technologies, India and had held the lead responsibility in the Engine Management System initiative undertaken by IIT Bombay in partnership with the industry.
Manish Sharma plays a lead role in the New Product Development initiative at SEDEMAC. He graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mumbai in 2001 and obtained his masters in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Bombay in 2006. Manish specializes in rapid mechanical prototyping and bring along years of experience of business leaderships in small-scale manufacturing setups. Prior to incorporating SEDEMAC, Manish held a lead responsibility in executing the industry funded Steer-By-Wire initiative undertaken by IIT Bombay, followed by a tenure at Eaton India Engineering Center, India.
Arvind Athavale plays a lead role in realizing scalable hardware platforms at SEDEMAC. He graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Shree Bhagubhai Mafatlal Polytechnic at Mumbai in 1984. Arvind brings along over twenty years of exposure to the design and troubleshooting of electromechanical systems in a variety of fields ranging from small-mid scale industrial setups to consumer markets. Prior to promoting SEDEMAC, Arvind held the responsibility of realizing the electronics pertaining to the Engine Management System initiative undertaken by IIT Bombay.
